Diplomats Committee
Since the mid-1960s, the Chamber’s Diplomat program has played an essential role in the success of the Chamber. Originally created as the public relations arm of the Chamber, the Diplomat program has grown and evolved over time. Today, Diplomats are made up of volunteers committed to promoting the Chamber and its benefits to the community and assisting members in becoming active within the Chamber. They do this in a variety of ways, including:
- Facilitating at ribbon-cutting ceremonies
- Serving as hosts and greeters at the Chamber’s numerous networking events
- Volunteering their time and talents at the Chamber’s signature events throughout the year
- Assisting in “onboarding” new Chamber members and initiating ongoing contact with existing members.
Those interested in becoming a Diplomat are encouraged to submit an application; there are two application periods each year – fall and spring. See the link to the application form below. Additionally, all Diplomats are required to adhere to the Diplomat Code of Conduct.
