Working for You – The Voice of Business
The dedication and involvement of our members are why the Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber is successful. There are a variety of involvement opportunities that match your unique skills and talents. Browse our opportunities below or visit the Chamber Calendar.
Committees
Diplomats
The Chamber Diplomat program is built up of volunteers committed to promoting the Chamber and its benefits to the community and assisting members in becoming active within the Chamber. The diplomat volunteers play an essential role in our success as a Chamber. For more information, contact Pauline Veazey at paulinev@conroe.org
Professional Business Development
The Chamber offers complimentary educational seminars to members and not-yet-members throughout the year at the Chamber office. These workshops vary in date and time throughout the year and focus on the creation, development, marketing, and management of your business. Professional Business Development will cover everything from preliminary planning stages, building your book of business, filing your taxes, using social media, and finding the right employees to take your company to the next level. These seminars are part of the Chamber’s continuing commitment to providing affordable education and training on various topics that affect the community’s business growth and sustainability. For more information, contact Pauline Veazey at paulinev@conroe.org
Young Professionals Network
Young professionals in Conroe and the surrounding area have a go-to resource with the Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN).
Launched in January 2023, YPN alternates between networking, professional development and community service opportunities. Mentoring is integrated into the group’s activities. While the group is geared for Chamber members who are under 40, if non-Chamber members are interested in learning more about YPN, please contact Riley Borchgardt, Director of Special Events, at rileyb@conroe.org.
Marketing
The Marketing Committee provides input and guidance for the Chamber’s ongoing marketing and communications initiatives. The committee helps establish key priorities for the Chamber’s marketing/communications function. It works with the Director of Marketing to assess the progress and effectiveness of these marketing/communications priorities.
Goal:
To provide a robust, effective marketing/communications program that is focused on 1) recruiting new members to the Chamber; and 2) retention of existing members.
